Katie starts her maintenence officially on Monday the 16th. Yay! The last couple of weeks her numbers have been down significantly, but she has been feeling fine. They finally went up on Monday and so we are able to step out again. Dawn Thiel, along with her family and several others have been working really hard on a benefit for Katie on the 21st of November and we are really really hoping to have high enough numbers to head up to MN for it. So please keep Katie in your prayers once again so she can see her cousins and grandparents! Hector and Anna were in MN for about 5 days and had a good time. It was really quiet around here, both girls enjoyed some alone time but they missed each other as well. Katie has started dancing more again and even singing. I makes us really happy and lets us know she is feeling pretty good. She starts taking steroids again next week but only for 5 days and we hope that goes ok. She has been eating a lot lately and has gained back all of the weight she had lost late this summer when she got down to 26 lbs and now she is back up to 30. We just took the kids in today to get pictures taken and that was an event. The kids all did pretty well but did not enjoy waiting for the pictures to print out. Remind me to bring Hector with next time! :) Thane is starting to babble more each day and smiling. His eyes just sparkle. Anna is still not walking but she is enjoying getting mom to give her m&m's if she uses the potty chair. We had check ups with the urologist for both Thane and Anna. Thane's right kidney is normal now and his left has shown improvement so he will stay on his antibiotic and recheck in 3 months. For Anna we will also keep on Antibiotics, recheck sono and appt in 3 months and then repeat a VCUG in 1 year and hope for improvement. This whole kidney thing is genetic so they advised that we have Katie's kidneys sonogramed as well, and I will talk to her oncologist more about that on Monday. Hope everyone is healthy enough to see during Thanksgiving!
